Almería capital de la modernidad

El peso de Almería dentro del panorama musical español va en aumento. Tras la consolidación del Creamfields, que este año se expande hacia el norte (sede en Vigo), el 15 de agosto le toca el turno al Ola Festival. Del cartel destacan grupos como Björk, Editors, Massive Attack o Goldfrapp.

Esta propuesta musical es otra de las debutantes del 2008, y quizá una de las más interesantes de Sinammon que  se suma a la larga lista de novedades como el Daydream, Rock in Rio, Electric Weekend de Getafe,  Creamfields Vigo o el  Saturday Nights FIB.  Y la burbuja sigue creciendo mientras los festivaleros se aprietan el cinturón. Muchas citas obligatorias, muchos reclamos de renombre, muchos lugares dispersos. Y cada vez menos euros en los bolsillos. ¿Demasiados festivales? Nunca.  

Todo en una noche en la que habrá que correr con horario en mano. Y es que la propuesta obliga a elegir y apurar bastante. St Ettiene, Goldfrapp, 2manydjs, Hercules Love Affair, Starsailor.  Muchas bandas, mucha clase y pocas horas.  Como novedad la posibilidad que ofrece el Ayuntamiento de El Ejido de acampar, una aportación que ya se instauró en el Creamfields de la semana pasada.
